This software tool can help recover deleted files and also help actually delete files completely.
If you delete a file in Windows, this file isn`t really deleted. What happens is the file is marked deleted and the content remains untouched. Unless parts of the file are actually allocated for writing parts of another file, the contents remain on the disk. Thus, if a file is deleted unintentionally, this tool can give you a means to recover that. The tool also provides a means of deleting a file for sure. The tool overwrites the deleted file several times to make sure the original contents are not readable any more. That makes sure confidential files remain deleted and unreadable when they are deleted. These functionalities are available for files on digital camera cards too.
You can scan a disk to find the files that have been deleted; you then know the ones that should not have been deleted. The program will tell you if the files could be recovered. You could identify the one you want recovered. When you want a file to be actually deleted, the tool will offer several alternatives and you could choose one of them. The delete is done several times and could be done up to 35 times. Besides being quite simple, the interface also offers wizards to guide you along. The pro version of the program has a deep scan feature that can identify files that can be recovered at least partially.
